Introduction

This CD is designed to help primary and lower secondary school students learn idioms (and figures of speech) associated with animals.

There are a total of 209 idioms categorised into 12 PowerPoint presentations.

The presentations are "supercharged" with

• 3D talking animated characters
• clip art with custom animations
• sound effects

Most idioms are amusingly explained and illustrated with age-appropriate examples.

Each slide has three features.


Replay the animation for each slide
The Clapboard button is located on the top left corner of the slide.

Run from the first to the last slide for each presentation
The Next button is located at the top right corner of each slide.

Run a presentation at the idiom of your choice
The Target button is located at the bottom left corner of each slide.
It will appear at the end of each idiom animation.

Minimum System Requirements

• Windows 9x, Me, NT, 2000, or XP
• PowerPoint 2000 or 2002
• 64 MB RAM
• Screen display of 800 by 600 or better
• 300 MHz or faster processor
• Sound card and speakers
