In a symbiotic relationship, two different species of organisms live close together and one member always benefits from the relationship. MUTUALISM: Both members mutually benefit (+ +)
COMMENSALISM: One member benefits while the other is unaffected (+ 0)
PARASITISM: One member benefits at the expense of the other which is called the host (+ -)
