The food of Brunei is similar to other southeast asia countries where the main ethnic group is Malay. Common dishes include (1) satay, (2) ketupat or lontong and (3) rendang. Some local specialities are (4) daging masak lada hitam, (5) udang sambal serai bersantan and (6) serondeng padang.
