People are fascinated by the Book of Revelation yet many are confused after reading it even after attending talks on the Book. Part of the confusion is that believers are presented with multiple views on end-time events and arguments for and against each of these positions so much so that they (especially first-timers) cannot firmly grasp any one position.
My approach in these notes then is to share one view and argue for that view. Other alternative views are usually not presented. Later when confronted with alternative interpretations and views, I believe you then can evaluate ONE VIEW and the arguments for it and decide whether to continue to hold that ONE VIEW or modify even discard it.
My target audience is the layman who is willing to open up his English Bible. I will seek to help you understand the Book of Revelation as a story of end-time events as presented. This is not a verse-by-verse commentary. In fact, many verses may not be explained adequately. These are my notes from my study on the Book of Revelation; it does not cover all end-time events. It will deal with Old Testament prophecies and the Olivet Discourse only as they help enlighten our understanding of the Book of Revelation. Few attempts will be made to reconcile the Book of Revelation with prophecies presented in Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Joel, Zechariah and Matthew.
