Building the Next Generation is timely, as it calls busy fathers and mothers to take time ... to learn God's Word personally, and to nurture their young ones spiritually, intellectually and emotionally. The family devotions suggested by the author (with the smiling endorsement of his wife and two boys, no doubt) are delightful: Bible at a child's level, creative, heart-warming, bond-building, memorable, and fun!

Alan has written a wonderfully practical book for a very much needed, but not often addressed, subject. Many people will not be encouraged to do family devotions because of the great poverty of easily available and useful material. Alan's book, however, greatly reduces our poverty.
